Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of company reputation, e-recruitment, and compensation on interest in applying job.

Methods: This study uses a quantitative method approach that is analyzed through a survey to collect data from respondents using questionnaire. The population of this study is Generation Z born in 2000-2005 ranging from 24-19 years old in Jakarta with an unknown number of population. The sample or respondents of this study were 98 people. Data processing uses the PLS (Partial Least Square) method through SmartPLS 4.0 software.

Findings: The results of this study conclude that: (1) there is no significant influence of company reputation on, interest in applying job, (2) there is a significant influence of e-recruitment on, interest in applying job, (3) there is a significant influence on interest in applying job.

Practical Implication:  Generation Z is more interested in creating their own job opportunities in the IT sector rather than considering a company's reputation when seeking employment. E-recruitment facilitates access to job vacancy information, increasing their interest in applying. They tend to choose companies that offer the best compensation, including benefits such as work flexibility, leave, and healthcare facilities. Competitive compensation is a key factor in their interest in applying for jobs.
