Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
Jurnal Manajemen STEI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and quality. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the validity, significance, and originality of the research. Below is an outline of our peer review process:
1. Initial Submission and Screening
-
Authors submit their manuscripts through the Online Submission System.
-
The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure the submission meets the journal's scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards.
-
Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected without further review.
2. Assignment to Editors
-
If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is assigned to an Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor based on the subject area.
-
The editor evaluates the manuscript's suitability for the journal and decides whether to proceed with the peer review process.
3. Peer Review
-
The editor selects at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
-
The review process is double-blind, meaning the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
-
Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
-
Originality and significance of the research.
-
Methodology and data analysis.
-
Clarity and organization of the manuscript.
-
Relevance to the journal's scope and audience.
-
-
Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommend one of the following decisions:
-
Accept without revisions.
-
Accept with minor revisions.
-
Revise and resubmit.
-
Reject.
-
4. Author Revisions
-
If revisions are required, the authors are given a specific timeframe to address the reviewers' comments and submit a revised manuscript.
-
The revised manuscript is re-evaluated by the editor and, if necessary, sent back to the reviewers for further assessment.
5. Final Decision
-
Based on the reviewers' recommendations and the revised manuscript, the editor makes the final decision:
-
Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication.
-
Reject: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal.
-
-
Authors are notified of the decision via email.
6. Publication
-
Accepted manuscripts are copyedited, typeset, and proofread before being published online.
-
The final version of the article is made available on the journal's website under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
