Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Jurnal Manajemen STEI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and quality. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the validity, significance, and originality of the research. Below is an outline of our peer review process:

1. Initial Submission and Screening

  • Authors submit their manuscripts through the Online Submission System.

  • The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure the submission meets the journal's scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards.

  • Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected without further review.

2. Assignment to Editors

  • If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is assigned to an Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor based on the subject area.

  • The editor evaluates the manuscript's suitability for the journal and decides whether to proceed with the peer review process.

3. Peer Review

  • The editor selects at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

  • The review process is double-blind, meaning the identities of both the authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

  • Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:

    • Originality and significance of the research.

    • Methodology and data analysis.

    • Clarity and organization of the manuscript.

    • Relevance to the journal's scope and audience.

  • Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommend one of the following decisions:

    • Accept without revisions.

    • Accept with minor revisions.

    • Revise and resubmit.

    • Reject.

4. Author Revisions

  • If revisions are required, the authors are given a specific timeframe to address the reviewers' comments and submit a revised manuscript.

  • The revised manuscript is re-evaluated by the editor and, if necessary, sent back to the reviewers for further assessment.

5. Final Decision

  • Based on the reviewers' recommendations and the revised manuscript, the editor makes the final decision:

    • Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication.

    • Reject: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal.
