The learning assistance program conducted by students of the Community Service Program (KKN) of Institut Turatea Indonesia at SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto aimed to enhance student engagement through interactive learning. The program was implemented over four days using participatory observation, classroom assistance, field notes, KKN logbooks, and attendance documentation. Activities included interactive learning, educational quizzes, visual media, individual assistance, and academic motivation and experience-sharing sessions. The results showed an increase in student attendance from 83% in the first session to 97% in the final session, with an overall average attendance rate of 91.2%. Observations also indicated a shift from relatively passive participation to more active involvement in discussions and question-and-answer sessions. However, since no standardized instrument was used to measure learning motivation, these findings are not interpreted as direct evidence of increased learning motivation. Overall, communicative learning, gamification, and academic experience sharing can support student engagement in short-term KKN learning assistance programs.
